Winding down winter

As you know the cold weather is still out there, but it is slowly and surely working its way into the great season of spring! Everyones winter wear is gradually getting less looked upon in our closets day after day and being replaced by the new spring 2009 clothing line. Although, some of the trendiest winter stlyes may still stay and become a part of spring styles aswell. Such as highwasted pants/skirts. Highwasted pants/skirts have had a huge imapct in winter 2008/2009. The waste is in this season and will most definitley be sticking around. Although the low rise pants/skirts are still being worn, the new trend is slowly working its way up the stomach. Some women actually prefer the highwaste style, making a more slimmer image. Pictured below is Hollywood actress America Ferrara who's not one bit shy to represent her non zero size body with a fashionable knee high pencil skirt.

With the waste being so in this season, on top of highwasted pants and skirts, anohter great way to flaunt the waste is with a decorative or plain and simple belt. Belted coats to belted dresses, you name it and a belt will most likely look stunning and complete the look. Accesories can always help add that last touch. There's many different styles to choose from for everyones different purpose and taste. Ranging from your traditional thin leather belts that easily hook into a hole to thick belts with decorative/creative ways of hooking the two ends together.

Either to emphasize an outfit, show off your awesome body, or to hide a problematic area, belts are the way to go. From celebrities even to our first lady, many women find this trend to be one of the greatest. Michelle Obama, pictured below, shows how anyone varying from teenagers to adults can pull off the belt trend. Winter to Spring, even well into Summer, belts aren't going anywhere and can be worn throughtout various seasons ahead. Considering belts are able to be worn well into further seasons, this is an accessorie one should not feel guilty about after purchasing. Once it's time to store away you're winter clothes, your highwasted pants/skirts, and variety of belts can be left out for more wear and tare throughout the warmer seasons.
